Labour Day Weekend
Dear St. Stephen’s church family,
Love and greetings in Christ! Happy Labour Day long weekend. Hear Jesus’ words: Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. -Matthew 11:28 (New King James Version)
1. As children prepare to go back to school, we hold each of them in our prayers.
We pray for the parents and teachers, for everybody, as we work together to make this school year a safe and successful transition into learning and being safely social! In the past weeks it has been so lovely to see children and families face to face as we filmed the pageant.
2. Sadly, we have decided to postpone our children’s time on the lawn tomorrow afternoon in hopes of a less windy day.
3. Thank you to all who have dropped off items for our gift baskets.
They will be assembled next week and delivered to various shelters in our city.
4. Zoom Morning Prayer
Tuesday morning at 9:30. You must call or email for the link.
4. In person services
